Hawaii Beach Party

This is a pet peeve of mine. What's wrong with putting your phone in your pocket? Everyone knows you're not that important because if you were, you wouldn't have to wear your phone on your belt. Your personal assistant would carry your phone for you. If you can't fit your phone in your pocket, then your pants are probably too tight and you should do everyone a favor and get bigger pants, but heed the warning of #9. Unless you're a construction worker, cop, and I'll even through in farmer and cowboy (because they get too dirty to make good fashion choices), put the phone in your pocket or I'll make fun of you. I digress.

Authorities in southern Chile and Argentina are continuing to monitor the direction of ash clouds belched out by a chain of volcanoes over the weekend.
More about This Chile volcano eruption .

Thousands of people in Chile have spent another night away from home as volcanoes in the south of the country continue to erupt.Large columns of smoke have been rising from a mountain range about 500 miles south of the capital Santiago, blackening skies across the region and into neighboring Argentina. More than 3,500 people were evacuated at the weekend from their homes near the volcano, and took shelter in government accommodation or friends’ homes. More on this Volcano .

Hawaii Beach SunsetWaikiki is a neighborhood of Honolulu, in the City and County of Honolulu, on the south shore of the island of O?ahu, in Hawaii. Waikiki Beach is the shoreline fronting Waikiki.

The neighborhood extends from the Ala Wai Canal (a channel dug to drain former wetlands) on the west and north, to Diamond Head (Leahi) on the east. Waikiki Beach is noted for its views of the Diamond Head tuff cone, its usually warm and cloud-free climate and its surf break.

Hawaii Beach SunsetThe Waikiki skyline is now dotted with an abundance of both high-rises and resort hotels. The beach is actually fairly short, with half of it marked off for surfers. For some distance into the ocean the water is quite shallow, although there are numerous rocks on the bottom. As with most ocean beaches the waves can have some force, particularly on windy days. The surf at Waikiki is known for its long rolling break, making it ideal for long boarding, tandem surfing and beginners.

Hawaii Beach

My perfect beach honeymoon series proved so popular that I’ve decided to bring it back for another post or two. It seems that beautiful sandy beaches and clear turquoise water are always in demand, and I’m thrilled to oblige. This time we’re heading to the stunning islands of Hawaii; I have yet to visit these lovely destinations but I’ve heard so many rave reviews that I’ve added it to my list of must-see places!

Formerly an independent country with its own monarchy, Hawaii became a territory of the United States in 1898 and the fiftieth US state in 1959. The state is made up of most of an archipelago of volcanic islands located in the Pacific Ocean between the Americas and Asia. Because of their volatile nature, much of which has now ceased, and distance from other habitable land, these islands have some of the most beautiful scenery in the world. They’re certainly the best area in the United States for the ideal luxury island honeymoon destination, and as you can imagine as a result Hawaii is very popular with newlyweds and older couples looking to reignite some sparks.
